Phil and Linda Byler, missionaries in Sudan

The Torit local church was interested in having some of the plants from our compound to beautify their office and the radio station.  Phil and I picked up a few of the Sunday School kids and brought them to our place, and their enthusiasm and excitement went over the top! They eagerly used the shovels to dig out clumps, divide clusters, and put into basins and buckets. Several hours later with the help of many of their friends, we had them all in the ground with lots of water carried even by the youngest of the crew! Unfortunately we did not get photos of all the action on Saturday, but after church today, there was no lack of eagerness to pose with “their plants.” Hopefully, with the ownership these young ones are showing, the plants will not get trampled and their needs for water will be met! And as a result, the compound will show more of God’s glory!
