I love to sail! Somehow the wonder of capturing the invisible power in the wind and utilizing it to thrust my sailboat forward with an effortless rippling trailing wake is a thrill to my very being. Sailing is for me both  WORSHIP  and recreation!

In this photo I was for a short time at the helm of a large yacht in Boston Harbor in 2009. It was both a thrill and a challenge, as that size boat was really way out of my league.

Now I find myself at the helm of AIM Central Region. This is a bigger “boat” than I had ever imagined myself being captain of.  Again I feel “out of my league”… EXCEPT that the true captain is at my side whispering advice, council, and navigation skills AND I have a wonderful crew of experienced deck hands who  supplement my deficiencies with their abilities.

Together we will “fix our eyes upon Jesus” and sail this BIG boat towards our destination of “Christ Centered Churches Among All African Peoples.”
