The first stanza of the national anthem of the Republic of South Sudan—the 54th country in the African Union:

Oh God!  We praise and glorify you;
For your grace on South Sudan;
The land of great abundance;
Uphold us united in peace and harmony.

Phil and I rejoice with the survivors in South Sudan as they celebrated their independence on July 9th!  We pray with them for lasting transformation in the country! Our assistant Bishop Sarafino says, “Tell your people thank you for their prayers.”

And we intercede for those who are now under attack in the border regions!  Thanks for joining us in uplifting the Sudanese!

Paul, Greetings from Bristol, England.  please post again to blogsite.

Thanks, Phil
