Bylers with Lanny and Carla Arensen, International Director

Until last week Bristol, England was just another name for us. Now Bristol is fondly in our memories as a fascinating city with centuries of history in its winding streets, its downtown “floating harbor” (a lock-controlled river entrance to the sea-going harbor which once docked slave ships), its Victorian mansions, and its deep river gorge spanned by the historic and picturesque Clifton Suspension Bridge.

with Ian, Phil's valued mentor and line manager, and Elaine Campbell,

For AIM Bristol is the home of our international office (IO). This visit gave us keen insights into the function of our mission and a much more personable relationship with our directors who graciously hosted and entertained us.

We are now back in Uganda, resuming work while reveling in the memories of our weeks away.
