Boarded the boda…and ready for work!

Our little white house, which is home in Kampala, is only a 15 minute walk to work.  However it is uphill, and thus we usually arrive sweaty at work in the morning if we go “footing”!  So, we have arranged with Emmanuel to come and pick us for work, and carefully transport us to the office.  It costs less than a dollar, so it is much cheaper than starting up our car and transporting ourselves in Western style! Bodas are motorcycle taxis which are extremely popular in Kampala, and can be dangerous on the major roadways where they weave between traffic and take daring chances!
