Phil and Linda Byler, missionaries in Sudan

The sign above our heads says “Nagishot International Airport.” The funniest thing about it is that it is true. We have flown from Kampala, Uganda and landed at this bumpy dirt airstrip and are posing under the International Terminal. Don’t even look for baggage claim.
We are with our international director, Lanny Arensen, and his wife Carla, along with our new South Sudan Unit Leader appointees, Geoff and Pat Hartley. What a gift from God that they wanted to reenter AIM front line missions after years as pastor of a local church in South Africa. At first Pat’s prayer was “anywhere but Sudan.” Now they are overjoyed to come to Sudan and we are overjoyed to have them.
