What a thrill to have lunch with these two lovely young South Sudanese ladies! Mary has been working in human resources in her troubled home country now for several years, sharing the love of Jesus with passion and being a servant leader who blesses many; she will be traveling back to work on Friday after two weeks of respite from the traumatic days of fighting in Juba. Susan, her younger sister, is ready to begin a new semester at a local university; she is faithfully toiling over the Mavis Beacon typing program which Mary used in our home years ago to now astound her peers with her speed, accuracy, and ‘blind’ keyboarding skills!

Dominic is as radiant in his Christian faith as is this smile. He is one of a few believers among his unreached tribe of South Sudan. Last night he slept peacefully in our spare bed so thankful to not be awakened by the nightly gunfire of Juba.

He has returned briefly to Uganda to do studio recording of 4 new songs which he has been inspired to compose. His previous ones are spreading wildly across the Didinga Mountains from cell phone to cell phone as even the unbelievers fall in love with this new music which touches their soul. The Love of God and Jesus Christ are his music themes. I’m thrilled with this spread of Gospel truth to remote places and desperate hearts.
