Lucy is just as radiant inside as out. We’ve known her for three years now as the most vibrant church greeter one can imagine. Sunday after Sunday three services in a row she greets hundreds of folks with boundless grace, warmth, and joy. When I complimented her once for the way she blesses us and others she replied, “I’m… I’m… well I’m just a daughter of Jesus.” And repeatedly I’ve heard her say about Jesus, “I love HIM so, so much!” Indeed, no wonder she radiates joy.

This photo is today at her Introduction. Think of an African Introduction as a big engagement party where the couple is introduced to each other’s family and clan. Picture lots of brilliant dresses, traditional dancing, gift giving, bantering back and forth as to who the intended is until finally he/she is discovered with great joy. And there is a big feast.

After the feast I discovered the kitchen behind the hedge. Imagine.
