Phil and Linda Byler, missionaries in Sudan

We six filled every seat and every kilo this Cessna 206 could carry from Uganda to Central Africa Republic. Every liter of fuel carefully calculated and even the banana weighed to ensure no overload. I even left my aftershave lotion at home to stay under my 8 kilo luggage allowance, having used over half my allowance for items for our church partners. A very small tube of toothpaste and electronic Bible helps keep the weight down.

We also needed to carefully weigh the recent insecurity before going. Thankfully there were no flare ups during out trip. Our purpose is to prepare the way for a future missionary team to return with a ministry to the Unreached Mbororo.
