Any day can be a day of thanksgiving! We were invited to a generous thanksgiving celebration meal at Barbara’s home. After many rainstorms disturbing her family with an inadequate roof over their heads, Barbara is very excited by this special joy of being dry as this rainy season has begun heavily!

Farewell…goodbyphoto 3e! This is the season of our life now as we bring an “ending for now” to the relationships which have been special to us. Phil and I had the opportunity to enjoy delicious Nubian food–kisira, garussa, dried meat, and peanut sauce—topped off with two cups of very hot (temperature) and spicy tea with our special friends in Bombo!

Global Link Afrika inaugurated their website (http://2015.globalinkafrika.org) with much praise to God and appreciation to the AIM short termer who not only assisted in its renovation, but also taught and mentored the ones here in Uganda who will be following through with the web upkeep and other computer needs! Global Link is a small organization with a huge vision!

Bill came from Canada with his wife and three young children, as learners and co-laborers, investing three months of life into discovering and learning about missions firsthand. It is a joy to see the bridges which were built as this AIM family worked with these Ugandans who are sending mission interns out to the remote areas of Uganda, worshipped with a local church community, and explored other ministry possibilities with kids who have special abilities (sometimes called the kids with special needs).

GLA is now asking for an AIM short term team to assist with the first IGNITE missions conference (similar to URBANA in the USA), which will be held in August of this year, to mobilize the church leaders to see missions as a priority. Is God calling you to come and help with some of the serving ministries for this event?
